By visiting the Cultural Center of the Marine (ECM), you will embark on a sensational journey through the history of Brazil and navigation. At the entrance, the lush Sandeels D. John VI will carry you to the nineteenth century. Built in 1808, in Salvador, this vessel was in use until the early republican governments.
The journey continues aboard the submarine Riachuelo and the Ship of Discovery, berthed at the wharf of the Cultural Center. In his yard, we also know the Helicopter Museum.
It is the Navy closer to you, valuing the culture and our history.

The Cultural Complex of the Navy does not open the following day of the year: Jan. 1, Carnival, Good Friday, Nov. 2 and 6, 24, 25 and 31 December.
